An exciting new project is launching in Waltham Forest a 2012 touring exhibition called Taking Part by Image17. 
 
This inspirational and diverse portfolio of photographs is the result of one years collaboration between a collective of 13 photographers  called Image17  who all live in the Olympic Borough of Waltham Forest. Sports groups include archery athletics badminton boccia bowling boxing canoeing chess cricket cycling diving fencing football golf gymnastics handball hockey horse riding ice hockey ice skating judo karate netball squash amp racket ball rugby swimming table tennis taekwondo tennis tai chi volleyball weightlifting and wrestling.

Theres no doubt about it tight budgets focus the mind.  Right now companies are wrestling with the challenge of creating champagne style campaigns on beer money budgets.
 
Growing businesses also need to think about how they are communicating with their targets   it some cases it may mean doing it differently.    


Focus on the return you are getting for your money.  Can you measure the response and effectiveness of your marketing activities  
 Explore other methods of promotion to your target markets.    Yes social media has an important new place in the marketing mix but dont ignore the balance of traditional media  understand where these fit into your sales cyle.  
Less is more.  Concentrate on doing a small number of marketing activities well and in a systemised way before jumping into new areas.

The TM team is working hard on seasonal marketing activity for various clients.  Lots are using their social media for the first time for competitions and to drive clients to special offers.  We found this really interesting  Five Killer Facebook Fan Pages.
Weve also been asked to deliver social media and marketing workshops this month in Enfield Barking and Dagenham.  Workshops are a great way to meet new clients  this may be of interest   WFWIB Workshops.
