My Gammie’s is a vegan bakery that is freefrom all the 14 main allergens. We are a multi-award winner business and we have been featured in newspapers and magazines nationally and internationally.

The bakery was founded by myself and my daughter in 2015 as a home run family business based in East London. We soon outgrew the home premises and relocated to a commercial bakery unit in Redbridge Enterprise Centre in Ilford.

My Gammie’s was created to emulate a grandmother’s love and care in baking. The business concept was formed from a need to create safer products for my grand-daughter who has a peanut allergy and multiple food intolerances. At the time, the availability of FreeFrom products was very limited and expensive. My daughter and I spent countless hours researching and baking for my grand-daughter so that she could eat like her peers and feel socially included at school and other settings.

As quality is our highest priority, we use sustainably sourced natural ingredients and no chemical substitutes, preservatives or additives. Our customer base include mainly those with food allergies and intolerances as well as vegans and those who desire healthier food options. To increase our customer reach, we have grown our brand via our website, social media and by promoting our products in events such as Farmers’ Markets, Olympia FreeFrom Allergy Shows and corporate & social events.

Our customers order our products online at www.mygammies.com. We provide both a collection and delivery service within London. There is a great demand from customers outside of London. Therefore, My Gammie’s is currently developing a dry mix of its most popular products that can be made available nationwide.

Since meeting Jo in 2018, she has been a key figure in our expansion bringing her business expertise to help us develop a marketing strategy. To Market has supported us to define a detailed step by step strategy with specific goals and guided us through to its completion.
