Forge – Creative Business Support Programme
About
Creative United supports the arts, cultural and creative industries through innovative business growth programmes and membership schemes. To Market was appointed to market a brand new business support programme designed and managed by Creative United, designed for freelancers, artists, makers, designers, producers, creative micro-enterprises and SMEs in the Blackhorse Lane Creative Enterprise Zone in the London borough of Waltham Forest.
The Forge Programme provides 12 hours of free support through tailored workshops, 1:1 advice and coaching, and events enabling networking, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and making new contacts. There are four editions of the programme, taking place in 2019/20.
Marketing Challenge
To create the programme’s branding, market the programme to its targets in Waltham Forest to support sign up for the programme and provide ongoing marketing to maintain application numbers and on the landscape of business support in the borough and amongst stakeholders and the wider business support community.
Approach
Launch activities – Sourcing, briefing and managing designers for the creation and delivery of Forge branding, including logo, posters, flyers, pull-up banners. Liaison with local printing company and delivery in time for Forge launch event.
Email Marketing – A quarterly email newsletter (8 editions over 2 years), covering events & workshops promo, forge success stories, news, opps, knowhow posts and guest posts – Build the mailing list – via enagagement with local creative and business networks, business incubators and workspaces.
Social Media – Up to 2 posts daily across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram – Facilitating local connecting, programme promotion, stakeholder & partner info, participant info sharing, events.
Blog Posts – 8 pieces over duration of the programme – Creating original content including success stories & positives from the programme, stakeholder/partner info
