How do you stay in touch with your contacts? How often do you do it? Do you only get in touch when you want something from them?
It’s always going to be easier to open a conversation with someone that you are in contact with on a regular basis, who has come to understand what you stand for and what your business is about. You simply cannot go for the (hard sell) jugular everytime – and all of this can take time to impart.
So you need a plan to make your presence known in a way that supports the personality of your brand and in the places that your potential clients congregate. Could be on social, email marketing via influencers, direct mail … lots of options which means you’ll need to be efficient in your costs too.
